Like the mythical winged horse, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding, Inc. of Connecticut and New York has provided "healing hands on horseback" since the non-profit began in 1975. It's used to improve the lives of individuals with physical, emotional or mental disabilities. The unique relationship can lead to increased confidence, patience and self-esteem. One horse in particular at Pegasus is named Jingle Bells. This horse has been an especially prized member of the therapeutic team.
